Golden Choice Co., Ltd is a Vietnamese limited company established in 2013 with the sole purpose to distribute pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Vietnam. Golden Choice is DKT International’s strategic partner in family planning, HIV prevention and safe abortion product lines. Under the trademark licensing agreement with DKT International, Golden Choice Co., Ltd has the right to exclusively distribute DKT branded condoms and contraceptive pills, MVA, IUDs and other products across Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

DKT International (hereafter referred as DKT), a global not-for-private profit organization based in Washington-DC, USA, is one of the world’s largest private providers of family planning, HIV prevention and safe abortion products and services. DKT combines private-sector marketing techniques, cutting-edge technologies, and creative advertising to ensure women and men have the knowledge, products and services they need when required. DKT Mekong, which is in charge of the expansion into Cambodia and Laos, and Golden Choice work together to find innovative, impactful and adventurous ways to increase awareness/education as well as access to and availability of high quality, safe and affordable contraceptives to improve Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotien people’s sexual and reproductive health.

Position Summary

The ETC Product Manager will be responsible for all traditional marketing deliverables such as business plans, pricing, product positioning, promotional strategies, life cycle plans and advising on product improvements and new product needs for an assigned product portfolio for our company across Mekong region (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos). This includes developing, implementing, and executing effective marketing strategies and tactics to ensure that products in the assigned portfolio achieve revenue and operating profit targets.

Job Responsibilities

Product Manager
I. Scope of work:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive ETC marketing strategies, plans based on master marketing strategy and market analysis.
  • Analyse and report on product usage trends, sales and competitive information for the Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos market.
  • Develop marketing tactics to include but not limited to brochures, trade advertising, training manuals, show materials and other collateral materials.
  • Support sales, partners education and routinely communicate with the sales force regarding product updates and availability, competitive activity, and new product development updates.
  • Develop rationale and make recommendations to management on pricing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, promotion, market research, regulatory, legal and any issue which impacts product responsibility.
  • Own development and execution of product strategy including ownership of the product pipeline, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Partner with finance and sales on forecasting to ensure proper inventory and to understand sales trends.
  • Develop product related marketing and sales enablement collateral.
  • Develop, engage and maintain relationships with distributors, hospitals, clinics, key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Review and report on performance indicators to leadership.
  • Fulfil any additional task if requested by MD.
  1. Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years of ETC product marketing, experience of working with hospitals, clinics, health providers.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Flexible, adaptable, team-oriented work style.
  • Multi-tasking, someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple projects at once, while solving for the highest priorities first.
  • Thinks strategically, results and details-oriented.
  • Able to do business travelling.
  • Fluent in Business English.
